HAMBURGER RICE SKILLET

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, sliced into rings
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced1 c. med. grain rice
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. Worcestershire
1/2 tsp. dry basil


RECIPE METHOD

crushed In skillet cook beef, onion, pepper, garlic until browned; drain. Add rice; cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Add undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, basil, 1 1/2 cups water and 1 teaspoon salt. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover; simmer 25-30 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir occasionally.
